Competition entry was created collaboratively with Link-Lab of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Restoring the edge at Horseshoe Cove attracts vast potential to the site starting by creating a meaningful ‘hub’ for both existing and emerging resources at the Golden Gate National Recreational Area. The proposed Waterfront Center aims to complete the adaptive re-use efforts at Fort Baker with building and landscape programs where various uses such as exploration of restored wildlife, recreation, art, and education comingle into a culture of environmental sensibilities.
